TimeCertain marks definitive milestone in OPUS history

OPUS IT has formed an alliance with TimeCertain, a supplier of hardware and software for digital content security. In doindg so, it has become the master distributor for TimeCertain in the entire Asia Pacific region.



TimeCertain's trusted time-stamping is a technological breakthrough that guarantees accurate time references for your electronic data.

Time plays a critical part in everyday business. All financial and other business transactions, communications and business records are dependant on accurate time recording.



Nowadays most organisations' information and transactions are electronically generated.

Organisations that create the audit data can, however, change the system clock, essentially creating untrusted time stamp sources.

Without accurate time references, these records would be of little or no worth.

TimeCertain is the solution to this relatively new but growing problem. It is a collaborative project by SPRING Singapore and OPUS IT to put in place an infrastructure and the facilities for time authentication.

This will prevent time-based digital forgery, ensuring the integrity of digital data that is generated, transmitted and stored.
