Key Facts about OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd
OPUS was incorporated in Singapore on 23 May 1990, under the name of United Software Systems Pte Ltd. The Company was renamed OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd on 4th July 1997. In 1998, IBM Singapore Pte Ltd became a majority shareholder and the other shareholder was Sunway Technology Sdn Bhd.
On 1st July 2005, OPUS completed a milestone transition from an IBM subsidiary into a private, independent company after IBM and Sunway sold their entire shareholding. The new owner is a group of private investors who have businesses and interests in property, financial services, systems management and technology.
OPUS is spreading her wings overseas to better support clients who have regional offices or subsidiaries. The company will be active in Thailand, Malaysia, India and China in the near future.
