OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is a leading IT services and solutions company in Singapore. It was incorporated in Singapore on 23 May 1990, under the name of United Software Systems Pte Ltd as a computer software developer. The company was renamed OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd on 4th July 1997 and re-positioned as an IT outsourcing services provider when IBM Singapore Pte Ltd became a majority shareholder. The other shareholder was Sunway Technology Sdn Bhd.
On 1st July 2005, OPUS completed a milestone transition from an IBM subsidiary into private, independent company after IBM and Sunway sold thir entire shareholding. The new owner is a group of private investors who have businesses and interests in property, financial services, systems management and technology.
